  • Complete (10+2) course and clear the CA exam
  • Graduate entry for university graduates

Ladder to CA:

Step 1: Right after passing 10th grade, Enroll with the CA Institute for Common Proficiency Test


Step 2: Write HSC exam and then appear for CPT exams – after a period of 60 days of registration


Step 3: Join Professional Competence Course


Step 4: After passing CPT, undergo 100 Hrs. of Information Technology Training


Step 5: Work as an articled assistant or audit assistant for 18 months and then appear in Professional Competence Examination (PCE)


Step 6: After passing PCE register for Final course and complete articled training of 3 1/2 years. May undergo General Management and Communication Skills Course during last 12 months of articled training while undergoing Final course.


Step 7: Appear for the final exams



The salary of a charted accountant depends on the location, sector, size and type of firm. Graduates entering the career can expect to earn salaries of up to £25,000. The average earning potential of chartered accountants with two to four post-qualification years of experience is around £56,000.
