Career as a BANKER

Banking is all about serving as an asset to a bank by performing the finance and account related operations. A job in banking sector is considered to be a secured career option and a nicely paid profession. Though the competition level to get a banking job rates 9 on a scale of 10 as the number of posts are limited but with a proper guidance, effort in the right direction and an aim in mind, it’s a worthy kite to catch.   • IBPS also conducts a CWE exam for recruitment of specialist officer like Marketing Officer, Law officer, HR Officer, IT Officer, etc.
  • State Bank of India Probationary Officer exam & State Bank of India Clerical Recruitments. Candidates apply online through Bank’s website www.statebankofindia.com or www.sbi.co.in.
  • Private Banks: Private Banks take aptitude tests for candidates to get them a banking job. They generally conduct their own full time residential training programme too. Some private banks also make sure that applicants joining the Probationary Officer Training Programme gets enrolled for MBA in Banking and Finance like ICICI Bank exam conducted at ICICI Manipal Academy campus, Bangalore.
  • IBPS Common Written Exam for Clerical Recruitment for PSUs
